ZipG: A Memory-efficient Graph Store for Interactive Queries
ACM SIGMOD, 2017
Abstract
ZipG is a distributed, memory-efficient graph store for interactive queries. It stores graph data in compressed form and executes a broad range of graph queries directly on that representation, keeping a larger fraction of the workload in memory. Its minimal API can express functionalities from several industrial graph stores. On a 244 GB server, ZipG runs tens of thousands of queries over more than half a terabyte of raw graph data, achieving up to 23 times the throughput of Neo4j and Titan, with similar gains over Titan in distributed deployments.
